yesterday was my birthday, i turned 16

it was pretty amazing. my friend Katie came and spent the night and we were up till 4 on tumblr and watching movies.
its pretty crazy to be 16.
i mean it feels crazy.

Lost in the Season

everyone is talking about all the awellsom expensive gifts they got...
"I got a laptop for Christmas!!!"

But Christmas isnt about the presents.
its about spending time with Family, and Friends and enjoying good food.


I actually didn't get anything expensive or electronic. my biggest gift was a new comforter from my mom (aka Santa) and $50 (half of which is my birthday present from my g'rents)
the biggest gift that anyone in my family go was my brothers new wii... like seriously they have asked for this like 3 years in a row. and my grandparents finally gave in.
but one of my favorite gifts came in my stocking... a roll of lime green duck tape and mini sharpies.

you should have seen my brothers when my youngest sister (age 6) gave them each $3 nerf guns. they were sooo ecstatic. it was incredible, that a $3 gift could bring so much joy!
the most exciting part of the day is when at last it SNOWED!!! (it never snows here on christmas) It was my very first white Christmas and it was amazing.
so have a wonderful New Year! and be Merry!

and always remember that JESUS, not Santa is the reason for the Season.
