Student Week!!!! :D
Student Week at the Refuge
This week was student week and well it is amazing!
Sean Smith is AMAZING!
Sean Smith can take any story from the OT and apply it to life now!
like for instance the story in 1 Samuel 13:16 - 14:2
its about how the Israelites were hiding from the Philistines under pomegranate trees.
and there were 600 men against 30,000. and there were only 2 swords among the Israelites (cuz they had no blacksmiths AKA Sean Smith :D)
the only person who wasn't afraid was Jonathon and his body guard. they had one sword among them, thats it, and they went to fight against 30,000 soldiers. he made it hard for God to say no.
and then God sent an earthquake and wiped out the entire Philistine army.
the reasons why Jonathon won was because
1. he recognized it was not a time to sit back but to take back.
2. he had to go through a hard place to get to a high place.
3. take 1/2 an acre and God joins in.
We go UNLESS we get a no,
I cannot wait for tomorrow night because Pastor Eric is a pretty awellsome speaker too
